[Founder Notes] Mark Zuckerberg
In the creation of Facebook, Mark was a total creep. Fueled by lust and an obsession with computers and the ability to bend the world around him. That said, he did have some interesting approaches.
Work when you can. Working hours are a construct to keep us in line. Mark worked when he could, not when he "should." He defined a way of working that allowed him to be free.
Mirror nature: Mark focused on developing Facebook in a way that mirrored how individuals naturally made friends and managed social circles.
Relentless: When working on an objective he would go through many approaches to achieve his goal.
Go all in or go home. It's easy to feel sympathetic to Eduardo. Eduardo didn't go all in even as he saw the success on the wall. Should he have been pushed out? Probably not. But the stakes are high, and going half-in is its own kind of choice.
