Obsessed — started at 7am and ended at 9pm. Made a ton of enemies. Had to reconcile some relationships later in life.

Played hardball. When people got tough, he responded tougher.

Symbol: Used Sun Tzu and the Spartans as symbols for work culture. Thought deeply about his work persona, crafted it, and tightly maintained it. "The chameleon."

Don't pursue external validation. He desperately wanted this, leaving him feeling unfulfilled no matter what he accomplished.
